So this week has been probably the busiest week I’ve had all semester. As you can see, I haven’t had time to post a lot so I am going to talk a little bit about my week before we jump into our artist of the week. If you don’t know, (which you probably don’t) I am a Sagittarius and I consider myself to be one of the best examples of a person that truly exemplifies their zodiac sign. One thing that is common for a Sagittarius is that we hate routine, and college is all about routine. So as much as it kills me to get up every morning at the same time, look at the same faces, hear the same voices, and talk to the same people, I know that it is necessary for me to further my success in this world and I usually manage to fight through it. Yet somehow, a few days this week I found myself in a mad dash to get places because I either woke up late or just lost track of time. I was never late to class or to work, but I did encounter a few close calls. Every time I found myself in that situation though, the people around me never knew the difference. Teachers went on with their lectures as usual, the students around me still took their notes, everyone else still continued their regular lives with no knowledge of the stressful events of my day. What I mean by this is that matter what is happening with you, ECU and the rest of the world will continue to move along, the choice is your of whether or not you are willing to make the necessary sacrifices to join the movement… even if it means you overlook the toothbrush one morning, lol. So to show pride in my sign and all of the Centaurs out their reading this blog, this week’s artist is one our own… Jay-Z. Not only does he have the coolest zodiac sign ever, but he is definitely a living legend and he proved that with his recent release, Blueprint 3. The album has been certified platinum and debut at #1 on the Billboard charts making Jay-Z second only to The Beatles for having the most number #1 albums. Good job Hova and congratulations. Go grab the new album if you don’t have it already. It is nothing short of perfection.
